La fabrication et l'importation de meubles en teck est un sujet sensible dont nous mesurons les conséquences sur l'homme et sur la nature. C'est pourquoi, nous travaillons en toute transparence et avons adopté une démarche éthique et responsable. Notre démarche est claire et la charte ci dessous, que nous signons avec nos producteurs, témoigne de notre engagement.

We, Pierre Yves et Nathalie Hascoët, manager of  Rue De Siam^®, a company specialized in furniture importation from Asia,

We guarantee to our clients and providers that we commit ourselves to respect the following conditions:

 

 

Social Responsability

• To respect the social and fiscal rules in each country, as well as the payment of social fees

• To do our best to provide good working conditions, in harmony  with the personnal achievement of each individual

• To never employ children or excessively aged people

 

 

Environmental responsability for sustainable development 

• None  of the wood we use come from natural forests. Our furniture are all made out of FSC labelled, recycled teakwood (http://www.fsc.org/), either out of  replanted forests.

 

• Our exclusive provider is the Indonesian, governmental institution « Perum Perhutani Â» in charge of the planting, preservation, protection, exploitation and commercialization of wood (http://www.fao.org/docrep/p0670f/p0670f03.htm). Hence, all the wood we buy come from official source.

 

 

 

We, official providers of Rue de Siam^®,  we committ ourselves to respect the above, particularly :

 

• To never employ children or excessively aged people

• To never buy wood  from non-official suppliers  having no FSC nor Perhum Perhutani accreditation.
